Collective Practices
Sunday 21 of August
This time my tool is a proposal on the base of two practices. Although each stands on its own, I wished to submit them together here in order to lay out a broader question on the possibility to organise exchange and knowledge transfer within a group. This organization would be practice based, self-organised (once the base rules have been agreed to) and driven by individual investment.
Alice Chauchat, choreographer and performer, has been touring internationally for 10 years. After studying in Lyon's C.N.S.M and at P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels), she was part of the collective B.D.C. from 1999 to 2001. Further collaborations include a.o. J'aime with Anne Juren, Crystalll with Alix Eynaudi or The Breast Piece (praticable) with Frédéric Gies. She also performs in other people’s projects (e.g. Xavier Le Roy, Jennifer Lacey, Mårten Spångberg), and takes part in the development of everybodystoolbox.net
Since January 2010, co-director of Les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers.
